Cancellation Policy

As you are aware, Pilates is a life choice, it is through regular classes and home practice that quality of life and everyday tasks become easier and less uncomfortable. Pilates can become part of your regular routine – think of it as treating your body to the TLC it deserves, rather than just something you feel you should do! By embracing the opportunity to exercise, you will find you become less stressed, improve your mental-well-being and will gain an increased ‘zest’ for life! I am here to support you on your journey and will offer guidance and additional resources when needed. I reassess your health and well-being every week, adjusting support as needed, which is why regular attendance is so good for you. Unfortunately, we cannot escape the odd illness and we all deserve holidays, however, to maintain your fitness and to enable you to save your place at one of my classes it is necessary to charge in ANY absence, regardless of the reason for absence. This has not been an easy decision for me, however where I can, you will be offered an alternative space at another class or sent a recording for you to practice at home. This helps you to maintain regular Pilates practice and to progress effectively with your exercises. If you pay per block, as many of you do, just let me know when you may be away, and we can swap you over. If you pay cash weekly, the same applies, just pay for any absent week and swap class if you can.

For my 1 to 1 clients, again it is often unforeseen circumstances that mean that you need to cancel an appointment, however with short notice it is not always possible to fill your slot with another client, therefore the following applies for 1 to 1 clients ONLY.

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours, no charge

  • Cancellation less than 48 hours, half the cost of a 1 to 1 session will be charged (£20)

COVID-19   RISK ASSESSMENT

I would like to reassure you that I am continuing to work hard to ensure your safety. I want to continue to ensure that you experience a relaxed and welcoming environment, at the same time being aware of any sensible precautions regarding COVID-19. We already know that Pilates not only improves your core fitness, posture, flexibility, and mobility, but that it enhances your emotional and mental well-being, therefore the social aspect of classes is vital in ensuring that we remain in touch with our emotions and that we receive support from others.

Please therefore help me to help you by continuing to do the following:

  • Please do not attend a class if you are experiencing ANY symptoms of COVID-19, or if you feel unwell.

  • If you are more comfortable wearing a mask before/during or after class, please feel comfortable to do so.

  • Please wash your hands well before coming to classes and use the hand sanitiser provided on arrival.

  • Please bring your own equipment to classes, including your own mat.

  • Please ensure that the contact details provided on your health declaration are always up to date, please notify me immediately of any changes.
